The job market is competitive now. How can you create the best CV to showcase your skills, experiences and responsibilities?

The average length of time that a CV is assessed is 7 seconds, make sure that yours is good enough for someone to read for longer.

Tip number 8
Make sure that your layout is clear and easy to read. Make sure that it is logical and shows your clear career progression.

Why?
You want the reader to be interested in your details enough to spend a reasonable length of time as to whether you are suitable for the role. Start with your current and most recent role and then work backwards from there. Make sure that your most important details are on the first page, not hidden towards the bottom of page 2. Have a clear, professional font that isn't too small. Remember your CV is your first impression after all.

Tip: Ask someone else to review your CV and critique it for over all look, information and attention to detail.
