Emerald Starfish was asked to run a recruitment project to find three key professionals for a rapidly expanding and innovative renewable energy company 
 
The Challenge 
 
The Midlands-based client needed to quickly find high quality candidates to fill three different roles in the fields of renewables engineering and commercial management, in order to support their expansion plans, primarily in Scotland. 
The Background 
 
The client approached Emerald Starfish following a recommendation, and we worked together on detailed briefs for each of the three roles in order to fully understand the profile of each professional required for such an innovative and technical company. 
 
The Solution 
 
Working on a fixed-price per placement basis, Emerald Starfish advertised each role, and screened all applicants carefully, before presenting a short-list of candidates to the client, and thereafter, setting up face-to-face interviews. 
 
The Result 
 
The client appointed three excellent candidates, and by working on a fixed-price basis, saved £26,500 compared with using standard recruitment consultancy fees! As the client now owns all the candidates, they will also benefit greatly from having a talent-pool to draw on as they continue to expand.

Telephone interviewing of relevant candidates 
Presenting a shortlist of candidates to the client for appraisal 
Arranging face-to-face interviews between the client and the candidates
